Being a member of a Golf Club since a young age, Mark has developed a respect for the development of Junior Golf.  He learnt as a novice junior, the values of discipline and respect for peers and senior club members.  These values have assisted Marks contribution as a respected member of the community. Mark recently scripted an article for Golf Australia Magazine on junior golf (Refer Article November 2007) PUT IN LINK.

Mark was previously a Club Professional at Bayview Golf Club where he developed and conducted the junior program which boasted over 70 junior golfers of all abilities. 

Tim Stewart, one of the early participants in the program at Bayview, is the most recent high achiever winning the 2006 Australian Amateur Championship and most recently, the 2007 Singapore Amateur Championship. He turned professional in November 2008.

Mark is currently in the process of re-establishing the Kookaburra Club at Brookwater Golf Club.  Available to boys and girls between the ages of 8 - 17 years, the Kookaburra Club is designed for beginners and intermediate players alike.  Please download the attached document for more information KookaburraClub.doc or go to http://www.brookwater.com.au/golf/kookaburra-club.php
